i.Con unsheathes smart condom ring with USB insertion that measures performance

Wearable technology in the bedroom is about to be unsheathed with the smart condom ring from i.Con that measures a wide variety of performance-related data.

The i.Con will be tapped for the online marketplace via British Condoms UK this year starting at about $73.50.

Before it’s initial thrust to the shelves, the smart condom ring is still undergoing a rigorous testing phase, but it is loaded with sexy, geeky goodies.

First of all, it is not an actual condom, but rather an adjustable ring that fits around the base, and can be worn over any brand of the roll-on male contraceptive. It also fits all sizes.

Inside the ring is a nano-chip with sensors and a micro-USB port that can be inserted into your computer to read the results.

The i.Con measures:

–  Calories burnt during sexual intercourse
–  Speed of thrusts
–  Total number of thrusts
–  Frequency of sessions
–  Total duration of sessions
–  Average velocity of thrusts
–  Girth measurement
–  Average skin temperature

The i.Con’s manufacturers claim that after doing the deed, you will be able to download the data which is synced to the device using Bluetooth technology, and after the memory will wiped clean like a digital disinfectant.

Charging the device requires one hour via USB and lasts about six to eight hours. With the average sex session lasting approximately 7.3 minutes, you can get charged-up and be ready to return to randiness almost as quickly as you finished.
