Call for entries: Digital Hub’s Best in Show competition 2011

Final year digital media students get ready, the Digital Hub’s Best, @TheDigitalHub, in Show competition is coming around again this April.

The prestigious five year old competition will be inviting entries from students studying a creative media subject who are currently working on their final year projects. There are three categories,

  • Best Interior Design
  • Best Animation
  • Best Film / Video

The grand prize is a work placement in a company in their area of interest.

In its short, five year history, the prize has already gained a reputation for finding great Irish talent. 2010’s grand prize winner, Diarmaid Keane, was placed with Red Diamond Media, with his winning final year project, an film/video documentary called “Pashli – Make A Difference.” Diarmaid is now a full-time employee of Red Diamond Media. Diarmaid, and his final year team of Shane Brennan, Shane Doyle and Aaron Chalke studied Multimedia in Dublin City University.

Students who are interested can register at the Digital Hub website. The Digital Hub will release more information next week.
